Noesis continues to strengthen its presence in Ireland by developing its Dundalk Center of Excellence, investing in the local team, and establishing a strategic partnership with Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT).
This initiative is part of the company's expansion strategy in the UK and Ireland market, reinforcing proximity to clients and the ability to develop and deliver complex technology programs. "More than a geographic expansion, it reflects our investment in talent and closeness to our clients", says Ricardo Batista, Managing Director – UK & Ireland at Noesis.
Inaugurated in 2024 with the support of IDA Ireland, the center aims to drive innovation and foster collaboration between the academic community and industry. The partnership with DkIT will bring together students, researchers, and technology professionals to promote knowledge sharing across Software Engineering, Low-Code Development, Data & AI, and Automation.
As part of this collaboration, DkIT recently hosted a talk focused on the impact of Low-Code in production systems. The session featured André Carvalho and Ryan Craven from Noesis, and Niall Igoe from Dole PLC, who shared hands-on insights into using the OutSystems platform to build enterprise applications used daily by thousands of users.
The session explored how Low-Code enables organizations to automate processes, accelerate software delivery, and build scalable enterprise solutions — without compromising quality — highlighting its growing role in corporate digital transformation.
"We see Dundalk establishing itself as a center of excellence that brings together knowledge, innovation, and collaboration to support the growth of our clients across the region," concludes Ricardo Batista.
