On July 8, Noesis and IBM hosted a workshop dedicated to IBM Process Mining, offering participants a hands-on opportunity to explore how this technology can be applied to analyze and optimize business processes.
Designed for customers who had previously expressed interest in the solution or attended joint Noesis and IBM initiatives throughout the year—such as AI for Business in Action at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento and IBM Connect Évora — the session aimed to deepen participants' understanding of the platform through practical exercises and a collaborative learning approach.
The workshop was led by Hugo Ferreira, Process Mining Expert, and Marco Mendes, Process Mining Tech Lead, who revisited the core concepts of Process Mining and demonstrated the capabilities of the IBM Process Mining platform. Participants then applied their knowledge through hands-on exercises centered on a real-world Accounts Payable scenario, enabling them to identify opportunities for improvement, understand process behavior, and experience the platform's capabilities in a practical business context.
