Noesis, Logiscalis, and RedHat came together to discuss portability, compliance, and efficiency in the new era of hybrid and multicloud environments.

The event closed IT Insight’s annual agenda with a session dedicated to the theme “Portability, compliance, and efficiency in a new phase of the cloud, highlighting the challenges organizations will face in 2026 as they manage hybrid and multicloud environments with greater freedom, efficiency, and resilience.

The session featured a roundtable on Hybrid Cloud and Multicloud, where Noesis, Logiscalis, and RedHat explored topics such as portability, regulation, FinOps, security, and operational models. Representing Noesis, Hugo Silva, Head of Cloud, Datacenter & Automation, joined the panel and highlighted the profound changes shaping the sector. He emphasized the impact of new European directives and regulations that require greater traceability, redundancy, and auditability across infrastructures, pushing organizations to adopt solutions that allow complete end-to-end visibility and control of their data. Hugo also noted that, although Portugal may lag behind other economies in some areas, there is a growing focus on data security and visibility, particularly in highly regulated industries such as financial services.

The conversation also addressed the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) in transforming cloud management practices. Hugo reinforced that cost is no longer just a technical concern but a fundamental part of business financial strategy, increasing the importance of a structured FinOps approach. He explained that development teams must have clear visibility into solution costs to make informed decisions aligned with operational and financial objectives

Noesis’ participation in IT Insight Talks underscores the company’s commitment to promoting a more conscious, efficient, and sustainable approach to cloud adoption. By contributing to this dialogue, Noesis continues to support organizations in achieving greater maturity, autonomy, and competitiveness in an increasingly demanding and distributed technological landscape.
