IBM Brazil: Noesis showcases AI success stories and challenges for organizations

The event included a presentation by João Martins, who addressed the challenges of adopting AI and explained how Noesis overcomes them with agile methodologies, governance practices, and customized solutions.

On August 26, São Paulo hosted an event promoted by IBM Brazil, in partnership with TD Synnex and Seven Solutions, which brought together experts to discuss the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming organizations.

One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of João Martins, Data Analytics & AI Senior Manager at Noesis, with the keynote "From Potential to Impact: The Real Value of Ideas that Came to Life." In a practical session, he outlined the main challenges organizations face when adopting AI — from defining the proper use cases to managing scattered data or integrating with complex systems — and shared Noesis' approach to overcoming these barriers, based on agile methodologies, governance practices, and solutions tailored to each business context.

During the event, several successful AI projects were presented, including initiatives developed by Noesis. Among them, ISEG's intelligent chatbot stood out, which uses generative artificial intelligence to respond automatically and personally to questions from students and employees, ensuring 24/7 support and significantly improving the academic and operational experience. Another example was AYMES' demand forecasting system, which uses AI algorithms to analyze historical patterns and predict demand for medical supplies, allowing for optimized order planning, reduced waste, and support for strategic decisions in the healthcare sector. These projects clearly illustrate how strategically applied AI can transform processes, increase efficiency, and create business opportunities.

The day ended with an exclusive tour of IBM Watson Labs, where participants got to see the latest advances in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and quantum computing, giving them a privileged glimpse into the future of technology.

More than just marking the end of the event, this moment reflected the vision of the future shared throughout the day: AI is no longer just a promise, but a real impactand organizations that know how to embrace this transformation will be better prepared for the challenges of the future.
