Altia Group expands with EDNON acquisition

The acquisition reinforces Altia's expertise across key technology areas and supports its long-term growth strategy

Altia Group continues to strengthen its position in the Iberian market with the integration of EDNON, a Spanish technology company specializing in digital transformation, infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services and data governance. The transaction reinforces the Group's portfolio in strategic technology areas and marks another step in its sustainable growth strategy, further consolidating its position in the Iberian market.

Founded in 2004, EDNON brings more than two decades of experience delivering technology projects across both the public and private sectors, with a strong presence in healthcare, retail, justice and banking. The company also stands out for its expertise in digital medicine, genomics, systems integration and communications, as well as its innovation hub, EDNON Labs, dedicated to developing advanced technology solutions. With this acquisition, Altia welcomes around 140 highly qualified professionals, further expanding its capabilities in cybersecurity, infrastructure, managed services, software development, and data-driven transformation.

Highlighting the strategic importance of the acquisition, Constantino Fernández, Chairman of Altia, stated: "The integration of EDNON clearly strengthens our ability to further enhance our service portfolio (...). We share a vision built on specialization, customer focus and applied innovation, and we are convinced that this acquisition will create new opportunities for our customers, including those joining us from EDNON, as well as for the professionals becoming part of the Group."

The acquisition aligns with Altia's strategy of integrating companies with complementary expertise, highly specialized teams, and a shared business culture. By expanding its technological ecosystem, the Group reinforces its ability to deliver end-to-end solutions that address the evolving challenges of digital transformation while continuing to create long-term value for customers across multiple industries.

For Francisco Bao, Partner at EDNON, joining Altia represents an opportunity to accelerate growth while preserving the company's customer-centric approach: "Joining Altia allows us to build on the work developed over the last 22 years (...). Together, we will be able to deliver larger-scale projects, combine complementary capabilities, and continue providing close, specialized and tailored responses to organizations facing increasingly demanding digital transformation challenges."
