Coimbra Business School Executive | ISCAC hosted the first Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence meetup dedicated to young students.

After the success of the third edition of the Lisbon BI Forum, held in November, we broadened our horizons and brought the topic to the academic community. Noesis organized, together with Qlik, the initiative that was attended by more than 50 students and whose objectives were to present the vision of Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence, main trends and talk about the future of Artificial Intelligence.

During the session, Luís Gonçalves, Associate Director of the Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence area, presented Noesis 'vision on the subject, some of our solutions and the way they are revolutionizing our customers' business. Sandra Martins, Marketing & Communication Expert, shared with the participants the experience of working at Noesis, the day-to-day of our talents and presented some of the initiatives we developed with the academic community.

What is the future of Artificial Intelligence?

André Castro, Data Scientist at Noesis, addressed this issue and presented the vision and success stories, powered by Noesis.

Qlik, reference partner of Noesis and the Lisbon BI Forum, since its first edition, was also present in the initiative. Renato Vieira dos Santos, Solution Architect, and Ricardo Ramos, Product Marketing at Qlik, shared the top trends in Business Intelligence and Analytics for 2020.

The session ended with a Qlik demo, performed by Inês Castelhano, Senior Consultant at Noesis, who introduced students to some of the platform's added value.

Pedro Costa, president of Coimbra Business School Executive | ISCAC, Isabel Pedrosa, Professor and mentor of the initiative, and Ana Cristina Amaro, Coordinator of the International Relations Office at the same higher education institution, made a very positive assessment of the initiative that allowed "the opening of a set of opportunities for our students in areas of knowledge that are decisive for your professional future ", said Ana Cristina Amaro.
