On April 16th, the first edition of the Academy Excellence Awards was held in OERS' auditorium, where Nelson Pereira, Noesis' CTO, went to award Ricardo de Freitas Henriques, one of the best students in the Computer Engineering course at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL).
This annual event aims to highlight the academic achievements of the best Bachelor's and Master's students in 12 engineering specialties: Electronics, Chemistry and Biology, Materials, Naval, Agronomy, Forestry, Environment, Mechanics, Civil, Geology and Mining, Computer Science, and Geography.
The students with the best performance are distinguished through a selection process. The winners receive prizes of €750 for their Bachelor's degree and €1,000 for their Master's degree, as well as the chance to do a professional internship at the sponsoring organizations.
For Nelson Pereira, these awards "are essential for us to invest in the growth of young engineers who want to enter the world of technology".
The event was attended by more than 100 guests, including representatives from the Academy and the sponsoring companies, as well as professionals from various sectors.
